Return Window & Eligibility

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the delivery date to return eligible items for a refund or exchange. The return window begins from the date your order is marked as delivered.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Unused Condition: Items must be unused, unburned (for candles), and in the same condition as received
  • Original Packaging: All original packaging, containers, and accessories must be included
  • Tags Intact: Any tags, labels, or seals must be present and unbroken
  • Proof of Purchase: Original receipt, order confirmation email, or order number is required
  • Complete Items: All parts and components must be included

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom or personalized products (monogrammed items, custom scent blends)
  • Gift cards and digital products
  • Products marked as "final sale" or "clearance"
  • Items that have been used, burned, or damaged by the customer
  • Products without proof of purchase

Package your item securely, attach the return label, and ship. We'll notify you when we receive it

Detailed Return Instructions

  1. Initiate Your Return: Email customercare@safispa.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number, item(s) you wish to return, and reason for return.
  2. Receive Instructions: Within 24-48 hours (business days), you'll receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. For eligible returns, we'll provide a prepaid shipping label.
  3. Package Your Return: Securely package the item(s) in their original packaging if possible. Include all accessories, documentation, and tags.
  4. Ship Your Return: Attach the provided return label to your package. For your protection, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining your tracking number.
  5. Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping is free for defective, damaged, or incorrect items. For other returns, a $7.15 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund, unless you choose to pay for return shipping upfront.

Refund Timeline & Details

  • Inspection Period: Once we receive your return, we inspect it within 2-3 business days
  • Approval Notification: You'll receive an email notification once your return is approved
  • Refund Initiation: Approved refunds are initiated within 1 business day of approval
  • Bank Processing: Your bank or credit card company may take additional 3-10 business days to post the refund to your account
  • Partial Refunds: Only applicable in certain cases (missing items, used products, etc.)

Exchanges

Fast Exchange Process

Need a different scent, size, or product? We recommend this fastest exchange method:

  1. Place a New Order: Order the item you want on our website
  2. Return Original Item: Follow our standard return process for your original item
  3. Receive Refund: Once we receive and process your return, you'll receive your refund

This ensures you get your desired item quickly while your return processes.

Direct Exchanges

For direct exchanges (same product, different scent/variant):

  • Contact customer care to request a direct exchange
  • We'll hold the exchange item for 14 days pending your return
  • Once we receive your return, we'll ship the exchange item
  • Free shipping on direct exchanges for the same product type

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we'll make it right immediately at no cost to you.

Immediate Actions Required:

  1. Inspect Immediately: Check your order upon arrival
  2. Document Issues: Take photos of any damage, defects, or incorrect items
  3. Contact Us Within 48 Hours: Email customercare@safispa.com with photos and order details
  4. No Return Required: For damaged/defective candles, we'll ship replacements immediately—no need to return the damaged item

Our Commitment:

  • Free Replacement Shipping: We cover all shipping costs for replacement items
  • Priority Processing: Replacement orders are prioritized
  • Full Refund Option: Choose a replacement or full refund
  • Return Not Required: For safety reasons, do not ship damaged candles back to us

International Returns (Outside USA)

For customers outside the United States:

  • EU Customers: You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer protection laws
  • Canadian Customers: Standard 30-day return policy applies
  • Return Shipping: International customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Customs/Duties: Refunds do not include original shipping, customs, duties, or taxes paid
  • Processing Time: Additional 5-10 business days for international return processing

Gift Returns

Received a SAFISPA product as a gift? Here's how gift returns work:

  • Eligibility: Gift returns are accepted within 30 days of original purchase date
  • Proof Required: Gift receipt or order number is needed
  • Refund Method: Gift returns receive store credit or a replacement gift card
  • Value: Refund will be for the item's current selling price at time of return
  • No Cash Refunds: Gift returns cannot be refunded to cash or original payment method
